For most ML workloads, the RTX 4090 with 24GB VRAM offers the best price-to-performance ratio. For production and very large models, NVIDIA A6000 (48GB) or multi-GPU configurations are recommended.
It depends on model size. For fine-tuning LLMs and training medium-sized models, 24GB (RTX 4090) is excellent. For very large models, multi-GPU setups or 48GB cards may be necessary.
